Quaderns de Recerca en Urbanisme (QRU) is an initiative of the Grup de Recerca en Urbanisme de La Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya to bring together research papers on each of the lines of work of the group's researchers. These lines of work cover topics in the field of urban planning, spatial planning and landscape. Each issue is structured around a specific theme and brings together works by both members of the group and external collaborators. The aim is to stimulate debate, generate transnational reflection and create a network beyond the group itself.

The journal Identidades: Territorio, Cultura, Patrimonio was created with the aim of becoming a vehicle for the dissemination of studies and intervention initiatives related to cultural landscapes, which play an increasingly important role in territorial development. They are communicative spaces, which store and transmit information. Just as cities have come to the fore in the information age, these spaces are taking on an increasingly important role as communicative places, places where stories and messages are linked to spaces and forms.
